Hi I have the following test pages set up.

I am trying to get a 2 column design left and right divs to align up properly but I have run into a brick wall. I can't use the faux method as I have already have a background image on my wrapper div. I also have a gradient on my right column so I cant use the trick with an increased coloured right border size.

The right or left column might be the longest in my site.

I have set up the pages and even provided a download file.

Can anyone help me?

  • I'm looking at your codes now. How exactly do you want to align? Is it to have both height equal and flushed to the full height without a light gray background on either side? o.k.w about 7 years ago

Well, you mentioned you can't use faux method because you are using the background for the side shadows. However you can do a "double" faux.

Treat you current wrapper as a container for the shadow, perform the faux method within it. Might need some tweaking but it should work.
