I'm using the html5 doctype, and in IE6 I am getting a rendering error.

Instead of

<li><a href="">Name</a></li>

I am getting

<li><a href="">Name</a>Name</li>

are you hiding any of the content with the rest of your css?

can you link to a test page to show the problem?

There are bugs that duplicate text, mostly related to floats and hidden content, but without seeing all your code it's impossible to be more helpful.

I have the following markup, a div menu including couple on ul's like this one:

<div id="menu">
    <ul id="user_menu_topics">
        <li><a href="/english/Spain/Housing-Rentals">Housing &amp; Rentals</a></li>
        <li><a href="/english/Spain/Property">Property</a></li>
        <li><a href="/english/Spain/Health">Health</a></li>
     </ul>
   </div>

And the CSS:

#menu {
    float: left;
    margin-right: 20px;
    overflow: hidden;
    width: 160px;
}
#menu ul {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #EEEEEE;
    margin: 0 0 1.5em;
    padding: 1.5em 10px;
}
#menu li {
    list-style: none outside none;
}
#menu a {
    display: block;
}

But this duplycation of content outside the tag repeats itself in other places as well, so I thought it has something to do with the rendering. Thanks!
