How do I change the color of the arrow in the select box using CSS? I want the arrow to be gray. At the moment it's blue.

You can't use CSS to change it unfortunately as it is controlled by the OS not the browser. The only way to do it is to use a select replacement technique where normal select boxes are replaced with (usually) <div> elements that have a drop-down menu attached to them. The replacement can be styled to resemble a select box, while giving you much more freedom over colors and the icon for the drop-down arrow.
