Hi,

I need to design a new website, where I'm supposed to use the following red (in HTML notation):

9B0000

since it is contained in the customer logo.

I'd like some advice on which colors should I mate with this red color and which colors I should definitely avoid (also for accessibility issues) Any link to a guide on how to select colors would be very appreciated.

Thanks.

Here are some combinations, maybe that will help you out :) ColorLovers

And here is a little guide on how to pick the right colors.

Edit: I added the Hyperlinks ;)

  • Sorry, please refrain from using url shorteners if at all possible. There is easily room for links of almost any length :) danwellman about 7 years ago
  • on the topic of links, the clickable text needn't be the url either. just say where and add the whole url to the link editor Tony Crockford about 7 years ago
