The easiest way to control the height and width of a div is through the use of CSS(cascading style sheets). Setup a separate style for each div and name them differently. To assign each div the style in the code use: <div class="name of style"> An example to both width and height would be: `

div.box {
height: 500px;
width: 200px;
border: 1px solid black;
background: orange;
}

` An example to set width would be:

 div.box {
    width: 200px;
    border: 1px solid black;
    background: orange;
    }

Another possibility is to set the width and height in percentages of the available space within the current element:

div.box {
width: 50%;
border: 1px solid black;
background: orange;
}
