I have 2 div with man children.

Each div has the children floating left (i have several columns).

I want to "merge" this divs, so that there are not empty columns on the last row of the first div.

I cannot change the html code.

Is there any solution ?

If you mean you want the content to flow into columns, then I don't think there's an easy answer.

  • yeah I mean that. Ok, so the only solution is to merge the div in the html ? Patrick about 7 years ago
  • yes, CSS3 has columns, but not all browsers support it yet: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/html-css-techniques/quick-tip-the-multi-column-css3-module/ Tony Crockford about 7 years ago
