Hello,

Can someone please tell me why I can't get div id talk to display on one line? And why would div id talk rules interfere with div id nav link, visited, hover states?

should be

#talk li {
    display:inline;
}

would be a start?

also

why would div id talk rules interfere with div id nav link, visited, hover states?

They don't if you edit them, but they are exactly the same in the CSS, so what do you mean?
