I know Doctype is not StackOverflow, but still: when I go to my StackOverflow user page, I can look up where I got my hard-earned reputation points (in the 'stats' and 'reputation' tabs). Doctype only gives the amount of points.

Why is this? Can a 'reputation overview' kind of feature be added to Doctype?

  • There was some discussion aboutn adding a feature to see where rep (both positive and negatove) was gained from a few months back. I think it's a great idea and worth bringing up again :) danwellman almost 8 years ago

I think they started of simple and relied on user feedback to develop a service based on the users needs, not only their own expertise because it's clouded by own preference and experience. If you start of simple and with the design rule that less is more and then add only the necessities you have better control of the design process and get more precision in the usability of your service.

You can suggest and or vote on that suggestion through the meta link in the footer.

  • I missed that one - from the meta site it seems a feature like this one is already planned. Sorry. Wander Nauta almost 8 years ago
  • Yea, I voted for that feature. Many times I have no idea where my points came from. o.k.w almost 8 years ago
