Hi, I've been sent a nondisclosure agreement in pdf format that I have to electronically sign. Not quite sure what to do. Google search proved useless. Should I just open it up in an editor and fill in my details? Do I have to add my signature? Thanks.
In the past when working with such documents, I have printed a copy off, completed and signed it, then scanned it and sent it back. Has always seemed to do, although the company that should it should be able to confirm whether they will accept soft-copy or hard-copy formats :)
I think you have three options here:
- Use software like PDFpen to "print" your signature onto the form electronically, so it looks like it's signed
- Use a service like EchoSign to sign it entirely electronically
- Print it out, sign it and scan it :)
