I have the following jQuery script to fade out my image at startup of page. But the image is fading out too fast. How can i make it slower? If i had numbers to the fadeOut function (the 2000) it should've gone slower. But it doesn't. Can someone help me?

<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
window.onload = function() {
 $("#logofade").fadeOut("2000", function(){
  window.location = "index2.html";
 });
};
</script>

In the body tag:

<center>
<span id="logofade"><img src="images/logo.jpg" alt="Logo" /></span>
</center>

It should be:
fadeOut(2000,
and not
fadeOut("2000",

The double quotes turned it into an unrecognized string. The only string parameters acepted are "slow", "normal", or "fast". Refer to reference.
