I have one static page and a few images I want to host, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee to host just one webpage. I also own a domain name. Is there a web host that has:

  • no ads
  • is free
  • allow you to use your own domain name

My storage and bandwidth needs are REALLY small, so anything that fulfills the three things above will do. I've googled around for a while and have found nothing. Thanks for your help in advance.

  • oh, and also. I'd like to upload my own custom html. A lot of free hosts only allow you to build a website using their own specially made templates. Nathan Speller over 6 years ago

I never had any problems at all on 5quidhost - I'm on one of their paid-for packages now but I was on their free plan for a couple of years and it was great. All of your requirements should be met and their free plans also come with PHP, a mysql database and loads of other stuff...

You can use your own domain name and they don't force you to put their name on the page or anything.

My site never had any downtime and their customer services team are very well equipped :)

  • Ah, looks like a great solution. However, I'm in the United States, and they seem to limit their services to UK residents. This would be perfect if I were in the UK. Thanks. Nathan Speller over 6 years ago

I have been using http://000space.com/. It's free and there isn't a requirement to post on their forums or even log in once a month like some other sites I've found.

there are several companies offer web hosting service for free with limited storage space and bandwidth. You can also host PHP sites ! have a look at directories like Web Hosting Companies List
