For some reason the subnavigation bar on this website is not floating properly in IE 7, though it looks alright in IE 6 and IE 8.

No problems on other browsers as well.

Any clue what the problem might be?

Thanks! Alex

You need a clear:both on #submenu.

Are you messing with it? Every time I look at it, it is different. :)

For CSS '#submenu', remove the attributes "overflow: auto".Works on my IE7.

Thanks Emily G, it is a clearing problem of course.

I am trying a different solution for this and I had missed a declaration in the CSS there...

Floated elements can be cleared by declaring

overflow: auto;
width: width_value;

for the containing element.

Thanks for your quick answers.
