Colleague has been editing this newly released website in the /testing/ folder for a long time now, and we released it last night. For some reason, everything still links to the /testing/ directory, and if we change this, some of the website's functions won't work.

For example, if you view this page;

Try the link at the bottom for downloads. They should open a jquery popup. But they dont??

On this page it works, and it has the /testing/ in there.

So can we keep it as it is, but cloak the /testing/ with some .htaccess method?

you need to remove /testing/ from all links including the ones in the header that link to stylesheets and javascript.
