I am looking for a library/framework that will allow me to do a variety of image manipulations, from the effects seen on Google FastFlip (not just the side scrolling for the thumbnail, but also for the enlarged images), along with any other cool effects that can be applied to images - as a UI element.

Similar to the vast 'effects' and tricks included in say jQuery for CSS manipulation, but for images.

Any recommendations?

I can't say for other JS framework but jQuery has lots of image related plugins.
