I've done a simple drop down using jQuery and it works great in all browsers except IE6. Can anyone please help me fix my code? Thanks.

$(document).ready(function () {

 $('#navlist li').hover(
     function () {
         //show its submenu
         $('ul', this).slideDown(200);
     function () {
         //hide its submenu
         $('ul', this).slideUp(200);

Well, can't help you much without looking the rest of your code and not knowing exactly what is not working. My hunch is the common IE6 issue.

This article might be able to help you.

jQuery.slideDown() issues in IE: quick fixes

I'll summarise the article content here:

Issue 1: slideDown() does not actually slide, the target HTML element appears the same way as show().

The fix is simple, make the parent element (Wrapper A) relatively positioned too.

Issue 2: slideDown() animates, then the element vanishes immediately afterwards.

$('ul', this).slideDown(200).show(); //this is specific for your case
