I am working on my portfolio site and am having a problem with the jquery plugin color box and a custom piece of JS I got from this tutorial.

You can see the live page here

The page and animation works as I want however when you click on an image to show the lightbox and close the lightbox the sliding caption jams half way down and moves the image up slightly i.e. it doesn't reset itself.

Is there a way to stop the conflict or are these scripts uncompatible?

Sometimes I found that changing the order of the scripts solves the conflict (if all are tested and work fine on their own)

The guidelines on the jQuery website might be useful for helping sorting the conflict:

Thanks, but both libraries use jQuery so i don't think it the jQuery conflict. It is more between the animation of both scripts.
