I'm currently developing a web application that will be cross-browser compatible, however, I've run up against a problem with a couple of my menu options.

My attached file shows what I see in Firefox at the top and what I see in IE7 at the bottom. Ideally, what I want to be able to see is what I see in Firefox across IE7/8 as well.

I'm using the following CSS:

#top-menu ul#gray a.tab {
color:#FFFFFF;
background-color: #727070;
padding:7px 15px 5px;
}
ul#gray {
    background:#727070 none repeat scroll 0 0;
    float:left;
    height:26px;
    font-size:11px;
    margin-left:120px;
}

Though I can't see why it works on one and not the other?

Resolved the issue.

On the image I also had style="vertical-align: top; margin-top: -3px;". I changed it to style="vertical-align: top; margin-top: -4px;" and it fixed it.
