For some reason, I just don't have a good eye for color/fonts/layout. It's a flaw I'm working on, and I could really use some critiques, especially in the color department, which I can see is bad, but don't know how to refactor simply. So what parts of the site most need fixing, and what methods/tools/concepts are good for refactoring the color scheme of a site and making it better? The site is

Note: I don't know whether doctype is accepting of critique requests, if not, feel free to suggest websites that you've found to be good for getting site critiques instead, if that's a more appropriate than a direct critique on doctype.

Just some ideas:

  • Get inspiration from other sites you admire
  • Search for palettes on
  • Hire a designer
