Hi

I'm looking for interesting techniques for using a photo as a background image. Though it is possible to scale an image using various javascript techniques, I'd rather not use this approach; where the page becomes tall the quality of the image deteriorates due to letter-boxing.

I'm currently using a photo with a 1 pixel crop from the bottom y repeated to fill the height of page. This works ok...ish but if anyone has any advice or links to better tutorials I'd be grateful. Perhaps some approach using photoshop?
