We are about to design a web site for display on a very wide kiosk: 32".
My client would like guests to be able to print the pages.
I suppose we could set up a Java Script to print the page when a button is clicked. Can we also set the page to scale to fit the printed sheet?
Next, I worry that the text might get awfully small if the 32 inch screen is scaled to a letter-size sheet of paper. Is there a way to say to just print a portion of a web page? Like, maybe a certain div?
I suppose this may not be too much of a problem, because the text will probably be fairly large on the kiosk, since the screen is so large; people will probably stand back a bit from the display.
Thank you! I had forgotten about being able to hide elements and such. Thank you!
