I have a grid of 7 x 5 small divs lined up, some of which contain linked thumbnail images, and others which are left empty.

The divs line up perfectly in every browser I have tested on except IE8. In IE8 the images in some of the divs are pushed out and forcing the whole grid to break.

I have attached the source code.

I am lost as to whats causing the problem, I have used a the same grid method in the past and its worked fine!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I've just had a quick look at your site in IE8 and it seems you have a div which clears the content, hence breaking the look of your layout. If you look at the attached screenshot, you can see the blue outline of the last tile, and below the div which is causing the problem. Take that out and it should work fine I think :)alt text

Thanks for your help, I have removed all of the clears and although the layout isnt breaking quite so badly, the end div is still pushing down on to the next row in IE8. Any thoughts?

Sorry could you outline the problem a bit more, and what you want to achieve? Perhaps even attach a screenshot.
