Please take a look at this site: http://www.awards.goodbysilverstein.com/2009/sprint_now/

I know it's all done in Flash, but what CSS would you use to have like a bottom div/footer cover the entire canvas, and not have any padding at the right/left/bottom margins?

I tried using the "margin" css of: margin: 25px, 0px, 0px, 0px; but that didn't seem to give me the required affect.

Thanks!

Try with this rules:

body{ margin:0px; padding:0px;}
#footer { margin: 25px 0px 0px 0px; width:100% }

Remember that to make this work the footer doesn't need to be inside any container, it bust be a child of the body directly

(i.e: <div id="container"><div id="footer">This is bad!</div></div> )

Hope this works!

I'm not sure of what you need, but if you need to create a div over the bottom part of your page and leave no room for margin...

You could create a div with:
position:absolute;
width:110%;
height:$whateveryouneed + 25px;
bottom:-25px;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;

And set body to :
overflow:hidden;
