Hello All... I am in search of an answer to the above... ANY FREE advice or help would be so greatly appreciated as I am a starving artist. :)

Next time you ask a question to avoid the type of response you received I would suggest making sure to post the snippets of css or html you are trying to style to get help.

The #wrap element needs to be overridden. Specifically declare a new width. This will require changes to other elements as well to fit proportionately.

The default for the themes at big cartel is

#wrap {
 margin: 0px auto;
 text-align: left;
 width: 740px;
}

There is a big cartel theme here that might be of some help learning about css changes for big cartel.

  • Why ask here, though? it clearly says: You can ask questions about CSS, HTML, web design and email design. You're asking specific questions about specific Software theming, and therefore unlikely to get answers. Tony Crockford over 6 years ago

I asked here because I noticed other questions concerning Big Cartel have been posted. I am not a web designer in any way and therefore obviously did not pose or ask my question correctly. The issue that I am having does involve changing either the css code or html code within Big Cartel sexy theme. I was referred to this forum with hopes of running into someone who has figured out how to adjust the main body size within this theme.

I apologize once again. Thanks for clarifying this site and the help you can receive here, although I TRULY feel like the question posed does relate to what can be asked here.

I will search elsewhere for answers.
