Hi guys

I have just started work at a new company that has an existing flash website (not my ideal way to have a site, but hey). They have asked me to fix a problem with Safari on the site, but since I am not a flash developer I have NO idea what could be causing it. Any help would be amazing.

The problem: When viewed with Safari, a horizontal and a vertical scrollbar appear in the flash content. In ANY other main browser (IE, FF, Chrome) they do not show which is how I want it to stay.

Thanks in advance for your time

I get the same scrollbar in FF that I get on safari on my Win 7 computer. Maybe on mac Safari you get something different, but on my machine, it looks to be because the bar along the bottom has a height of 50px, a border of 1px, and a negative top margin of 50 px (50 + 1 - 50 = 1). The solution is to set the top-margin to -51px to account for that last pixel. This will leave a 1px gap at the bottom in the older IE box model which includes the border in the height, so the fix may include a conditional comment for IE which sets it back to a -50px top margin.
