I have been taught that slice the whole design as images and use the images for web page design.....

If "ALL" the slices in Photoshop are imported in Dreamweaver as an images(jpeg/png) then the file size will increase and it will take more time to load. But for a beginners it is very much handy to slice all sections of design as an image and then save it for "web and devices " and do the rest...... Suggest me better way to convert psd to html

-Thank You

Make sure to "Save for web" and compress your images to the smallest size possible for the quality you need. If you have many background images/icons utilize image sprites. Use CSS background colors, gradients, rounded corners and shadows where possible to eliminate the need for images.
