Hey all,

I'm having trouble getting my span links (sharing an image background) to work in IE. They're fine in FF and such.

I've tried the curser: pointer, zoom: 1, etc, etc - but to no avail ~

Anyone have a solution to this? Please?!

Thank you ~`

Try to put position: absolute; on #buttons.

The Actions div is lying in front of the #buttons div. Therefore it's not clickable. It's also pushing the links downwards in IE causing it to drop below the header and disappear. Why don't you put the background-images on the anchors in #buttons?

  • Thanks Jens, not sure how to change this now ... it's just a design I'm editing, I didn't do it myself. Hate to redo anything on it honestly ... Jennifer about 7 years ago

You could set a negative margin-top on the #buttons div - this seems to fix it in IE6 so is probably good for IE7 too. maybe add some neg margin-left too just to align them perfectly. About -90px on the margin-top and -10px on the margin-left ought to do the job ;)

  • Thanks dan, well ... I tried the above but it only resulted in having the header completely cut off. Lol Looks like I may have to re-do this, though I don't want to - was hoping for an 'easy' fix. Bad I know. Jennifer about 7 years ago

You might want to try setting the anchor tags to display: block;
