Anyone have any tips/tricks on how to stop cropping in IE6 print preview/printing.

I am creating a fixed width site (1000px) which is not live at the moment. On the testing site I have tried setting the width of the container on the Print style sheet to 600px but this causes a problem with content disappearing.

(this is a different site but has the same problem and writen with simuilar code)

Are your content's containers set to a width above 600px? It would definitely help if you provided us with a link, or your source code & css.

if the site is 1000px why are you setting the width to 600px when printing?

In the print stylesheet it is better to hide elements you don't want printed with display:none; instead of changing widths :)

If you set the container to 600px you need to make sure that the child elements inside can fit properly within 600px. If they do not, they could probably cut off.

Setting the container width to "auto" might do the trick, but you may need to adjust the internal divs too. I'd be tempted to remove any floats and widths on these so that it all flows in one big column for printing.
