If I have a table of data, and I want to break it into 2 tables so I can put some non tabular data in the middle (paragraph, heading, etc.)

Is there a way to make the columns of the tables line up as if they were the same table?

(The alternative which I think is a bad practice is keeping it as 1 table and putting that content in a cell inside the table.)

I think the only way would be to specifically set the heights of the rows so they match each other.
